Chicago, IL. – October 15, 2021 – Soliant Consulting has been recognized as a top company for remote workers by Quartz, earning the ranking of seventh among mid-size companies. The online media giant honors businesses that make remote work a cultural priority and ensure remote team members have as much opportunity and professional growth as in-office employees.
Companies were chosen by employee surveys, in which Quartz sought insights on happiness and professional growth opportunities. Do the nominated companies deliver a collaborative, welcoming company culture? Are their communication tools bridging employees across time zones, from home office to home office? Are remote team members advancing their careers as quickly as their in-office counterparts?
Soliant’s team, a remote-first team before the COVID pandemic, shared their thoughts with an independent research company on how Soliant makes a strong remote work culture a top priority. Key details shared by employees include reliable cloud-based tools, strong and responsive leadership, and transparent communication around shared goals.
“We’ve had remote team members since day one, so we have had 17 years to fine-tune our strategies and learn how to support our employees,” shares Bob Bowers, Soliant Consulting CEO. “We have cultivated an environment in which our people can share their authentic self and collaborate but still structure their days for autonomy when needed.”
Soliant continues to invest in remote-first infrastructure with supportive services to assist employees in their work-from-home needs. These include frequent virtual get-togethers, leading communication tools, and even counseling services. The team is looking forward to resuming its annual company-wide retreat when it’s safe to do so in 2022. Leadership continues to evolve an intentional and collaborative culture.
