Chicago, IL – July 24, 2015 – At the 2015 FileMaker Developer Conference, Soliant’s Senior Technical Architect Wim Decorte won the company’s prestigious FileMaker Excellence Award for Leader of the Year. This is Wim’s second award, first winning in 2002 “For Technical Excellence and Best Practices on the FileMaker Platform.”

The FileMaker leadership team recognized Wim with the award due to his clear contributions to the FileMaker community. Wim led the number of posts on the FileMaker Community forums in 2014 and 2015 and has assisted scores of fellow developers in the FileMaker industry. He has authored books, white papers and technical briefs. He has presented more than twelve times at FileMaker’s Developer Conferences in both Europe and the United States, making him a staple in the conference’s circuit.
Wim Decorte consistently provides a huge volume of support to the FileMaker Community. Wim has:

- An astounding breadth of knowledge that spans development, deployment, integration, and security;

Wim holds certifications in every version of FileMaker for as long as they’ve been available, and began his career with FileMaker in 1993. He is the co-leader of Soliant’s FileMaker practice where he mentors and guides our entire team. He is known as a trusted expert in the community not only with database and application development, but also related knowledge of FileMaker Server, integrations with web systems and, in particular, security.
