Chicago, IL – August 4, 2014 – This month, Soliant Consulting celebrates its tenth year helping clients solve problems and leveraging technology for the betterment of its clients’ businesses.
In 2004, Soliant formed largely as a FileMaker consulting company with 18 employees. Today the company has grown to more than 50 full-time employees, dozens of subcontractors, and has worked with hundreds of clients in locations all over the world. Soliant’s services include a mature Web Applications development team and dedicated Salesforce consultants.
Bob Bowers, Soliant’s CEO, has led the team with a clear mission in mind:
“At Soliant, we solve business problems. That means we get to know our clients, their organizations, and how they work. We don’t just create technology in a vacuum.”
“We’re big believers in the ‘Trusted Advisor’ ethos: we strive to be reliable, credible, and rightly focused on our clients’ needs.”
Scott Love, Soliant’s COO adds: “Relationships lie at the heart of Soliant’s success. I’m grateful to work with some amazing individuals both among our clients and at Soliant itself. We have real opportunities to make an impact in people’s professional and personal lives.”
Soliant has helped a broad spectrum of businesses ranging from Apple and other Fortune 500 companies, leaders like Regeneron and Volvo, non-profits such as the Center for Sustainable Energy, and educational institutions including Stanford and the University of Chicago.
CTO Steve Lane attributes Soliant’s success in part to the platforms in which the firm specializes: “The technology we use is highly adaptable, which makes it such a great fit for small and big businesses. By defining best practices and efficient tools, we’ve worked hard to bring custom software within reach of nearly every possible business team.”
The owners hope to continue giving back, not only to the FileMaker, Salesforce, and Web applications communities, but in philanthropy as well. Soliant has given a part of its revenues to local charities since its early days, and employees have volunteered to lend a hand with various events and non-profit organizations.
Soliant was named among the Inc. 5000 in 2013 and has won industry awards including the FileMaker Business Partner of the Year in 2012.
