Solution
Soliant Consulting Inc. partnered with Glenbrook High School District 225 to build a cutting-edge Camp Registration Site using the latest web technologies. The solution was a React/Node portal integrated with Stripe’s powerful payment platform through the use of PCI compliant payment intents.
The development team at Soliant Consulting started by implementing React Stripe.js, a set of React components designed to work with Stripe.js and Stripe Elements. This allowed them to handle secure payments processed directly from the web, providing a seamless user experience.
To start the registration process, users select their program and desired camp through a user-friendly browser interface. For payment, the solution utilized Stripe Payment Intents, ensuring that all transactions are tokenized directly from Stripe via the users browser for maximum security. Users pay using various payment methods supported by Stripe, such as credit/debit cards.
Behind the scenes, the server-side Node.js application creates payment intents and adds additional meta-data to provide relevant user information to the Glenbrook Administrative Team, consumed via reports through Stripes robust web interface. Upon successful payment confirmation, the application stores the confirmed payment intent ID for future reference.
